This 2nd base was used on April 5th 2008 vs. the Tampa Bay Rays and displays light dirt marks and cleat marks on the face from the players and the Yankee Stadium base path. The Yankees played the Tampa Bay Rays on April 5, 2008. Derek Jeter had 2 put outs at 2nd base and Alex Rodriguez doubled during the game.
