This base is nicely signed by Derek Jeter across the top half of the base above the Hollywood base Jack Corbett logo. In front of 52,487 fans the Yankees beat the Seattle Mariners 12-3. Chien-Ming Wang was the winner, extending his record to 17-6. The Yankees pounded out 20 hits including home runs by Alex Rodriguez, Bobby Abreu and Jorge Posada. Derek Jeter had 1 put out at 2nd base and 3 assists to go with his single and RBI. Jeter would go on to finish the 2007 season with 206 hits and a .322 batting average.
